Trilix launches the Information Security Management System implementation project in Azercell, Azerbaijan

Launching the project in Azercell

Azercell, a member of the TeliaSonera Group and the largest telecom company in Azerbaijan and the Caucasus region, launched the implementation of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with ISO 27001:2013. Trilix presented the project methodology at the initial meeting and all project components were determined. The ISO 27001:2013 standard is an internationally recognized standard for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving the information security management system. One of the reasons for choosing Trilix as a partner in the highly demanding project was the fact that Trilix issued over 20 % of all certificates on the Croatian market, more than any other in Croatia. Moreover, all certified systems implemented by Trilix are still in use, which speaks volumes about the attention paid to a system’s sustainability during implementation.

Trip to Baku

Nikola Markovinović, Consulting Department Manager, and Mladen Amidžić, Trilix CEO, had the initial project meeting with Azercell in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku. It was agreed that Trilix’s expert team should travel to Baku late this month to start a gap analysis. Following the gap analysis, the implementation process will be launched according to the standard. Simultaneously, TeliaSonera, as a group, has internally designed processes and systems for information security. The processes and systems are passed on to all other organizations in the Group, and it is for Trilix to implement and incorporate them in Azercell.
