Trilix played a key role in the digitization of card payments for parcel delivery for DPD, a leading provider of logistics services. In cooperation with Worldline and DPD, we have integrated an innovative Tap on Mobile (softpos) solution that enables the use of the delivery person’s Android device as a POS terminal. This technology enables co
ntactless card payments, making DPD the first delivery service in Croatia to offer this modern payment option.
DPD, one of the leading providers of package delivery services, has introduced the possibility of contactless card payment of ransom when delivering packages. Until now, the cash on delivery service was only available in cash, and DPD is the first delivery service in Croatia that raised the level of service and introduced card payment for cash on delivery using a software solution for accepting cards.
Comprehensive support
Trilix provided comprehensive support, from defining business processes to preparing the application for testing, automating reporting and training employees, ensuring smooth integration into DPD’s existing system. The result is a faster and more efficient payment process for users, without the need for cash.
“We are glad to be a partner in a project that will significantly improve the delivery process for DPD, raise the quality of service for package recipients and make the daily work of delivery people easier. When implementing the Worldline Tap on Mobile solution, we provided DPD with support in defining business requirements and processes , preparing the Worldline Tap on Mobile application for testing and production, automating the reporting of card traffic and training employees for the operational use of business applications,” said Mladen Amidžić, director of Trilix.
